It was dark. A man told the people on the train to get out. He told them to walk away from the train, to the lake. Katerina Sergatskova is a journalist. She was on this train. She went out with the other people. They stood outside for many hours. Sergatskova said they had to leave the train fast, but there was no safe place. She said people only walked away from the train, to the lake. She saw Russian drones. A drone is a small plane with no pilot. The drones hit a petrol station and they hit the front of the train. This happened near Yahodyn. Yahodyn is on the border of Ukraine and Poland.
The train went from Kyiv to Warsaw. Poland was only two kilometres away. The Ukrainian train company said a drone hit the front of the train. Nobody on the train was hurt. All 206 people left the train in time.
There was another train at Yahodyn station. Boris Johnson was on it. He was the leader of the United Kingdom before. David Petraeus was there too. Other important people from Europe were on the trains.
Planes do not fly over Ukraine now. So people from other countries come to Kyiv by train from Poland.
The minister of Poland for the army said the drones did not go over Poland.
The minister of Estonia put a video on the internet. In the video, the petrol station is on fire.
